Proof that does not depend on trusting us, or you.

Integrity evidence is designed to be checked by someone outside your organisation, against a record that neither you nor Ghostables can change.

Proof held outside your walls

An audit log kept inside the system it audits shares that system’s fate. Anyone able to alter the records may be able to alter the log as well.

Ghostables is designed to reduce each batch of writes to a single compact proof and anchor it to an independent public ledger that no database operator controls. Once anchored, the history of your records can be checked long after the fact, even if your own systems are later compromised.

  • A single small proof covers a whole batch of writes
  • Anchored outside the control of any operator, including Ghostables
  • Records awaiting anchoring are clearly reported as such

Availability

Independent anchoring is being rolled out to production deployments in stages. Every deployment verifies records locally from day one, and we will confirm anchoring availability for your environment during scoping.

What a verifier receives

An evidence pack for any record: the verification result, the proof that the record belongs to its batch, and the receipt for that batch from the independent ledger.

Who can verify

Auditors

Check that records have not been altered since they were written, without access to production systems.

Regulators

Receive evidence that stands on its own, rather than a statement from the organisation under review.

Courts and legal teams

Rely on records whose history can be demonstrated independently of the party that holds them.

Your own customers

See for themselves that protection is active, through the Protected by Ghostables mark.
